Status of Practice

I had the great privilege of working for 40 years as a psychotherapist. I feel much gratitude to all those who entrusted me with their deepest concerns. My practice is closed now except for consultation for other therapists and writers.

Along with my practice I have written on sociocultural issues, women’s sexual and gender identities, relationships, depression, and the use of language in psychotherapy.

Although I continue to write about these issues, most of my writing now is literary: poetry, fiction and essays.
